Week 2
Read Chapter 8 from Dummit and Foote (Euclidean, Principal Ideal, and Unique Factorization Domains). Ignore Dedekind-Hasse norm discussion. Then go back and consider concrete examples of the ideas from Atiyah and MacDonald Chapter 1.
